Memorial Scholarship Fund

Michael Russo was born on January 21, 1992 in neighboring Fairview where he lived with his mother, Christine, father, Michael and sister, Jessica until they moved to Cliffside Park when he was seven years old. After graduating from Our Lady of Grace School, Michael attended Cliffside Park High School where he began to forge friendships and become involved in his community. As a young adult, Michael pursued a career in the Cliffside Park Police Department as a Records Officer, Michael's passions included traveling with family and friends, hanging out with his nephew, Jay, taking trips to the Jersey Shore and celebrating holidays in the company of his extended family. Wherever he went, Michael spread love and joy, and brought light into people's lives. Michael passed away on September 25, 2021. 

 

Due to extraordinary medical care Michael received, his family wishes to award scholarships to Cliffside Park High School and surrounding area students entering the field of medicine. We will also be donating to Hemophagocytic Lymphohistocytosis (HLH) research to help find a cure.
